After providing preconstruction services, Cranshaw was retained for a development on the urban site of Table Talk Pies’ former manufacturing and distribution center in Kelley Square. Situated across from the Worcester Red Sox’s Polar Park at 120 Washington Street, the seven-story affordable housing development features 83 units. Among the units are 11 ADA-compliant apartments, exceeding code requirements with nine fully accessible units and two units catering to visual/hearing impaired individuals. The project boasts 22 parking spots, including two designated for EV charging. Common amenities include a laundry facility, bike room, common room, remote work/business center and a fitness center. There is also a first floor retail space. Construction started in the fall of 2022 to erect three floors of steel framing and concrete which support levels of wood framing above. Tenants began moving in on May 1, 2024 and formal ribbon cutting was held in the summer of 2024.
