960 Massachusetts Ave

BOSTON, MA

This project, which is located in the Roxbury/South Bay section of Boston, included removing two existing third floor additions, the existing ballasted roof, and construction of a new 30,000 SF addition on top of the existing building. The addition was constructed as a future office space. The work also included selective removal and renovations to the entire façade of the building, updates to the HVAC and electrical services and site improvements. During construction, the building was occupied by Standard Electric Supply and The Recording Company, who remained in operation during the reconstruction efforts.

In 2022, Cranshaw started the fit-out of 52,000 SF of administrative offices on the 2nd and 3rd floors for Boston Medical Center (BMC).
