AC HOTEL AT THE CIRCLE

Boston, MA

Located on the site of the former Circle Cinema in the Cleveland Circle neighborhood, The Circle is a mixed-use development with a 92,200 SF, 162-key AC Marriott Hotel as well as a 92-unit, high-end, active adult independent residential community. The layout of the development provides a piazza-like courtyard between two non-connected buildings with underground parking for 188 cars.

Building construction of the hotel consisted of a structural steel podium with four floors of wood framed panelized construction above and retail on the ground floor. The façades are a combination of masonry and metal panel.

The project is a transit-oriented development centered around the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s Cleveland Circle Station on the Green Line.
