Boston Medical Center Fit-out

In the spring of 2020, Cranshaw Construction renovated an industrial space at 960 Massachusetts Ave in the Roxbury/South Bay section of Boston by replacing the façade and building systems. In 2022, Cranshaw started the fit-out of 52,000 SF on the 2nd and 3rd floors for Boston Medical Center (BMC) to use as administrative offices. The design features perimeter offices, high-walled cubes, conference and training rooms as well as storage. Slopes in the existing floor heights required careful MEP coordination of ductwork and a mixture of exposed and dropped ceilings. A new gated surface parking lot of was created with the demolition of an automotive building on the adjoining lot. Turnover occurred at the beginning of November 2022.
