Clippership Wharf

125/133 Sumner Street is the affordable housing component of the larger Clippership Wharfproject owned and constructed by Lend Lease along the inner Harbor in East Boston. The project consists of the demolition of four existing Boston Housing Authority residential buildings, and the construction of two, 3-story wood frame residential buildings totaling 52 rental and for sale units. The new construction will include a 1,040 SF public community room and outdoor patio with sweeping harbor and downtown skyline views. The buildings will also contain approximately 3,400 square feet of ground-floor retail facing Sumner Street, 19 surface parking spaces and 50 bicycle storage spaces.
