MassDOT District 4 Administration Building

Arlington, MA

Cranshaw is constructing a three-story office building with a partial basement and mechanical penthouse. Designed for Passive House Certification and Zero Net Energy status, it features rooftop solar PV arrays and solar canopies. The project includes high-performance glazing, a rainscreen cladding system, and a CMU-constructed Materials Lab. Phased demolition of the existing structure will maintain operations during construction. Cranshaw’s Phasing and Site Logistics Plans will address traffic safety, ledge conditions, and preserve an existing cell tower.
