Radius

BRIGHTON, MA

This five- and six-story multi-family development is comprised of 132 units, 5,000 SF of ground floor retail, a 4,000 SF roof deck, a pocket park, parking for 108 cars and storage/bike repair space for 132 bikes. A curved façade facing Western Avenue and Leo M Birmingham Parkway with floor-to-ceiling storefront glass puts the large lobby and amenity spaces front and center at street level and activates this busy pedestrian and vehicular crossroads. The project also included an indoor/outdoor rooftop fitness center and common function room attached to a roof deck overlooking the Charles River and onsite collaborative workspace.

Building construction consisted of steel framed podium with five floors of wood framed panelized construction above. The façade is a combination of masonry, metal panel and fiber cement siding.
