The Edge

ALLSTON, MA

The Edge is a five-story, 79-unit apartment building with off street parking for each unit. The building is a podium-type design with structural steel and concrete composite deck at the second floor level and pre-fabricated wood panel walls above. The building achieved LEED Platinum certification, incorporating highly energy efficient windows, spray foam insulation, electric car charging stations and a rooftop photovoltaic solar array. Individual units have Silestone countertops, stainless steel appliances and designer kitchens, 10-foot ceilings, floor to ceiling window systems, and abundant natural light. Tenant amenities include a second floor outdoor patio, media room and exercise facility with full wall doors that open to the outdoors.

The project is located near the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s Griggs Street stop on the Green Line’s B branch.
