University Station

WESTWOOD, MA

University Station is a 2.1 million SF vibrant new mixed-use destination in Westwood which, when completed, will include a total of 540,000 SF of retail, 350,000 SF of office, 650 residential units, a 150-key hotel and 100 units of assisted living.

Cranshaw Construction has completed construction on Bridges at University Station, a memory care community National Development developed in partnership with EPOCH Senior Living. The 64-unit, 72-bed residence, designed by CBT (exterior) and JSA (interior design), opened in July 2015.

Cranshaw Construction was also the construction manager on the retail shell portion of University Station, which includes a large number of stores and restaurants such as Wegman’s Supermarket, Target, Sports Authority, PetSmart, Michaels, Famous Footwear, David’s Bridal, Charming Charlies, Dressbarn, Ulta, Nordstrom Rack, Marshalls/Homegoods, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Fidelity, Starbucks, Visionworks, Orangeleaf, Noodles, Supercuts, Learning Express, Drybar, Muse, Gamestop, GNC, Minilux, Panera, Chipotle, Smashburger, Kay Jewelers, Men’s Warehouse and Hallmark.

Construction has also been completed on a 140,000 SF Lifetime Fitness facility and the re-positioning of 101 Station Drive, an office building adjacent to University Station. The re-positioning included a day-lit lobby with a glass curtain wall, a fitness center, a new entrance plaza with a living wall and café as well as exterior improvements allowing dining and casual seating.
