Winchester Swim and Tennis Club, New Clubhouse

Winchester, MA

Cranshaw managed the demolition and reconstruction of the Winchester Swim and Tennis Club’s 1965 clubhouse to address structural issues and modernize the facility. The seasonal-use building was expanded by 1,000 SF and re-oriented parallel to the pool deck. It features updated amenities, including bathrooms, a snack bar, and a small office. The project also adds handicap parking, new landscaping, and a permanent structure to replace what was formerly a metal awning. Construction began in fall 2024 with completion in June of 2025, in time for summer use.
